How much does VorqulBOT cost?

Nothing. VorqulBOT is free to run on infrastructure you control. There is no paid tier, no feature paywall and no usage metering, every module is in the free version, and releases are downloadable from GitHub.

• There is no hosted plan to subscribe to, because there is no hosted plan at all. You run the process yourself.
• The one thing you cannot do is redistribute, resell, sublicense or re-host it for third parties.

How much does VorqulPanel cost?

VorqulPanel is paid. You buy a one-off license per deployment and there is no subscription. I do not publish a price list. The price is quoted individually and depends on how many servers you run it on, and it is still in alpha, so test access by email is closed for now.

• Quotes go through email at soulstrikedevs@gmail.com or Discord, and I usually answer within a day.
• A quote is a fixed figure for the deployment you describe. No per-seat charge, no per-domain charge, and no renewal fee for the version you bought.
• If you need a public figure before talking to anyone, say so in your first message and you will get a number instead of a discovery call.

How long does installation take?

A first VorqulPanel install on a clean Linux server takes about 15 to 30 minutes, and most of that is waiting for package installs and DNS to propagate. VorqulBOT takes under 10: create a Discord application, paste the token, start the process.

• VorqulPanel ships as a compiled JAR. There is no source checkout, no Maven, no build step and no container runtime to set up.
• Moving existing sites, zones or mailboxes into the panel is what takes real time, and how long depends on how many of them you have.

What do I need to run Vorqul?

For VorqulPanel: a Linux server with root access and 2 GB of RAM, with Java 25 installed by the installer. For VorqulBOT: Node.js 18 or newer (22 LTS is the one I recommend) and a Discord application with the message content and server members intents switched on.

• The panel keeps its own state in SQLite by default, so it needs no database server. MySQL, MariaDB and PostgreSQL are available as the panel database when you prefer one.
• VorqulBOT stores data in JSON files by default or in MySQL/MariaDB. The backend is one line in the configuration, and there is no separate edition for it.

How big is VorqulBOT, in concrete terms?

VorqulBOT has 44 modules you can toggle individually, sorted into 6 groups, plus 83 top-level slash commands with roughly 180 subcommands. It speaks 9 interface languages and runs on 2 storage backends. Eight of those areas have a full written reference page.

Who is Vorqul a poor fit for?

Anyone who wants a managed service. Both products assume you have a server, root on it, and the patience to be the person who restarts things at 2am. If you want somebody else to own uptime, buy a hosted product instead.

• VorqulPanel also falls short on multi-node clusters. It manages one Linux server well and a fleet badly.
• VorqulBOT falls short if you need a public bot that anyone can invite in one click without hosting anything.

How is this different from a hosted Discord bot or a hosted panel?

Where the process runs, and who holds the data. A hosted bot or panel keeps your moderation history, tickets and server state in the vendor's database and bills you monthly to get at it. Vorqul runs on your machine, so the data is yours from the start and there is nothing to be locked out of.

• You pay for that control with work. Patching, backups and uptime become your job, in exchange for a fixed cost.
• If a hosted product already fits your team and you would rather not look after a server, take it. I would rather tell you that than argue.

Is Vorqul a company or one person?

One person. Vorqul is built and maintained by Yamiru in Slovakia. That is the honest scale of it. It is why support is direct, and why large enterprise procurement processes are usually a bad match.

What does Vorqul deliberately leave out?

Telemetry, runtime license checks that phone home, a hosted or multi-tenant SaaS version, and any resale of hosting. VorqulPanel manages a single server rather than a cluster, and its interface is English only.

• Reference pages for individual features exist in English only. I made that call on purpose to keep the scope small.
• There is no marketplace, no paid plugin store and no revenue share on plugins.

What data leaves my server?

None. Both products send zero telemetry. Cases, tickets, logs, metrics, mail, zones and databases all stay on hardware you control, and no vendor-side account holds a copy.

• The website vorqul.com runs analytics only after you consent, and stores nothing on your device before that.
• VorqulPanel keeps 30 days of metrics on your own disk, and you can change that number.

What happens if the project stops?

Both products keep running. VorqulBOT runs from your own Node process and VorqulPanel from a JAR on your disk. No license server, no activation call, no remote kill switch. A stalled project cannot switch off software you have already installed.

What support is included?

You talk to the developer directly, on Discord or by email. There is no ticket queue and no support tier to buy. Bug reports from live servers go ahead of feature requests.
