How much does VorqulBOT cost?

VorqulBOT costs nothing. It is free to run on infrastructure you control, with no paid tier, no feature paywall and no usage metering. Every one of its modules is included in the free version, and releases are downloadable from GitHub.

• There is no hosted plan to subscribe to, because there is no hosted plan at all - you run the process yourself.
• The only thing you may not do is redistribute, resell, sublicense or re-host it for third parties.

How much does VorqulPanel cost?

VorqulPanel is a paid product with a one-off license per deployment, not a subscription. There is no public price list: the price is quoted individually and depends on how many servers you run it on. Test access is free and requires no payment details.

• Quotes are handled by email at admin@vorqul.com or on Discord, usually within a day.
• A quote is a fixed figure for the deployment you describe. There is no per-seat charge, no per-domain charge and no renewal fee for the version you bought.
• If a public figure is what you need before talking to anyone, say so in the first message and you will get a number rather than a discovery call.

How long does installation take?

A first VorqulPanel install on a clean Linux server takes roughly 15 to 30 minutes, most of it spent waiting on package installs and DNS propagation. VorqulBOT takes under 10 minutes: create a Discord application, paste the token, start the process.

• VorqulPanel ships as a compiled JAR. There is no source checkout, no Maven, no build step and no container runtime requirement.
• Migrating existing sites, zones or mailboxes into the panel is the part that takes real time, and it depends entirely on how many of them there are.

What do I need to run Vorqul?

VorqulPanel needs a Linux server with root access, Java 17 or newer and 2 GB of RAM. VorqulBOT needs Node.js 18 or newer (22 LTS advised) and a Discord application with the message content and server members intents enabled.

• The panel stores its own state in SQLite, so no external database server is required for the panel itself.
• VorqulBOT stores its data in JSON files by default or in MySQL/MariaDB - the backend is a configuration choice, not a separate edition.

How big is VorqulBOT, in concrete terms?

VorqulBOT ships 44 individually toggleable modules in 6 groups and 82 top-level slash commands with roughly 180 subcommands, in 9 interface languages and on 2 storage backends. Eight of those areas have a full written reference page rather than a feature bullet.

Who is Vorqul not a good fit for?

Vorqul is a poor fit if you want a managed service. Both products assume you have a server, root on it, and the willingness to be the person who restarts things at 2am. If you want somebody else to be responsible for uptime, buy a hosted product instead.

• VorqulPanel is also a poor fit for multi-node clusters: it manages one Linux server well, not a fleet.
• VorqulBOT is a poor fit if your requirement is a public bot you can invite in one click without hosting anything.

How is this different from a hosted Discord bot or a hosted panel?

The difference is where the process runs and who holds the data. A hosted bot or panel keeps your moderation history, tickets and server state in the vendor's database and bills monthly for access to it. Vorqul runs on your machine, so the data is already yours and there is nothing to be locked out of.

• The trade is real, not one-sided: you take on patching, backups and uptime in exchange for control and a fixed cost.
• If a hosted product already fits your team and you do not want a server to look after, it is the better choice, and we would rather say so than argue otherwise.

Is Vorqul a company or one person?

Vorqul is built and maintained by one developer, Yamiru, in Slovakia. That is the honest scale of it, and it is the reason support is direct and the reason large enterprise procurement processes are usually a bad match.

What does Vorqul deliberately not do?

Vorqul does not send telemetry, does not phone home for license checks at runtime, does not offer a hosted or multi-tenant SaaS version, and does not resell hosting. VorqulPanel manages a single server rather than a cluster, and its interface is English only.

• Reference pages for individual features are published in English only. That is a deliberate scope decision, not an omission.
• There is no marketplace, no paid plugin store and no revenue share on plugins.

What data leaves my server?

None. Both products send zero telemetry. All state - cases, tickets, logs, metrics, mail, zones and databases - stays on hardware you control, and there is no vendor-side account that holds a copy of it.

• The website vorqul.com uses analytics only after explicit consent, and stores nothing on your device before that.
• Metric retention in VorqulPanel is 30 days, on your own disk, and is configurable.

What happens if the project stops?

Both products keep running. VorqulBOT runs from your own Node process and VorqulPanel from a JAR on your disk, with no license server, no activation call and no remote kill switch. Nothing about a stalled project stops software that is already installed from continuing to work.

What support is included?

Support runs through Discord and email, directly with the developer. There is no ticket queue and no support tier to buy. Bug reports from live servers are prioritised over feature requests.
